Bretman Rock is one of the internet’s biggest personalities. Born on July 31, 1998, in the Philippines, he moved to Hawaii with his family as a child and first gained attention on Vine before becoming a YouTube and Instagram sensation thanks to his beauty tutorials, comedic videos and candid personality.
Over the years, Bretman has expanded far beyond social media, launching collaborations with major beauty brands, starring in his own MTV reality series, Following: Bretman Rock, and publishing the bestselling memoir You’re That Bitch & Other Cute Lessons About Being Unapologetically Yourself. In 2021, he made history as the first openly gay man to appear on the cover of Playboy, and in 2026, he was named to TIME’s TIME100 Creators list, recognizing him as one of the world’s most influential digital voices.
